Summer Staff

Responsibilities

• Lead campers on adventures such as kayaking, hiking and more.
• Facilitate basecamp life such as opening the camp store, doing housekeeping and more.
• Help prepare and serve meals.

Qualifications

• Growing relationship with Jesus.
• An affinity towards the outdoors.
• Fit an adventure camp with a slower pace, smaller groups and more communal setting.
• Familiarity with Adventures Wild Ridge is a plus.

Housing

• Off the grid, in a yurt and adjacent to camper basecamps.
• Opportunity to utilize amenities off of camp on night 4.

Session 1: June 7-22 ​ ​ ​ Session 2: June 23-July 8 ​ ​ ​ ​ Session 3: July 9-24

Please first check availability​ of openings. Then complete a Young Life summer staff application online. You will need the email address of a Young Life staff person who is willing to write a recommendation on your behalf. You can expect a follow-up interview with more adventure camping-specific questions.
