If your child is planning a future trip to Adventures — Wild Ridge or is here right now, we want you to have the information you need to rest easy while he or she is away. There are many activities at camp in which your child may be participating. Whether they are challenged while rock climbing, kayaking or simply spending time with friends, their safety is our top concern.
Adventures — Wild Ridge will provide all the gear for the adventures, a pillow, mattress, hammock, first aid kit, eating utensils and more.

Your camper's safety is our main priority. Young Life and Adventures — Wild Ridge maintain the highest level of safety and standards in operation of all of our activities at camp.
Each trip will be facilitated by two experienced guides. Your child will be in good hands the entire time at Adventures — Wild Ridge. In the event of an unexpected accident, our staff are trained in Wilderness First Aid and will have access to contact emergency care should an issue arise. Each guide team will carry a cell phone and will communicate with basecamp daily. Our guides will be with your group from the minute they arrive at camp until they drive away.
We welcome kids of all abilities to our camps. The Adventures — Wild Ridge experience has been designed with teenagers in mind. It is challenging, but very achievable. If your child has any special conditions, please be sure to note all of that information on the Young Life Health Form.
